The client was using Teradata to store large volumes of their data in the range of petabytes. The transformations and analytics on this data were carried out using Teradata BEx queries.
They wanted to change its data warehousing options because of the high licensing costs of Teradata. In the event of an error, the process of handling and resolving was complicated in Teradata.
